Hey everybody. Hope you’re having a great day and a great week and enjoying fourth quarter and fall that’s coming upon us.
So had a few folks ask, “Why Alliance? What makes Alliance IT different?” Well, I guess you could kind of get into the Ford-Chevy conversation or a BMW-Mercedes conversation. But here are some of the things that do make us different.
We’re obviously your local IT consulting firm, voice over IP and structured cabling. So if you’re on the Gulf Coast to Florida, you’re going to have easy access to get to us and an easy way to choke throats versus going after some of the bigger guys that may be national or don’t have any local presence.
To all of our out-of-state clients, thank you and it’s always a pleasure seeing you all as well when we make it out to you. So we get out about – we want to visit our clients. We care about our clients. We care about the community. Our reputation is all we have. We live here. We work here. We breathe here. We’re invested in our communities. We’re invested in our organization. We’re invested in our employees and our clients.
We like to have everything done right first time. We tend to be a little overbearing and perfectionist at times, which may drive us crazy and may drive our clients crazy. But again, we want to do it right the first time. We want our clients to be satisfied. We want our clients to be happy with the end results. We want you to be proud that you’ve selected Alliance IT and we are proud to have you as clients as well.
In addition, we tend to be a little agile and not in the terms of agile in scrum process functions but agile in quick and nimble.
We do what we do well. It’s IT, voice over IP and structured cabling. We don’t do websites. We don’t do printers. We don’t do managed print. We don’t do social media. But we also don’t confine you to a box. If we’re meeting with you and you say that you just need this piece, whether it’s disaster recovery, whether it’s a VPN solution, maybe it’s just managed firewall.
Maybe your in-house IT staff has everything covered but they just need some additional help on security. We can help you with that. We have solutions for that. We have packages for that. We’re not going to walk away and go, “Oh, I’m sorry. You don’t fit in our box. We can’t help you.”
Whether you’re a small business or you’re a large enterprise, everybody has different needs and no, maybe we can’t help everybody. We do have our constraints as well. But we do work to be agile with our clients. We want to have the solution that you need when you need it.

Security and IT and the entire technology field is ever-changing. It’s changing faster than it has ever before.
Gone are the days where we’ve got an empty server and we’re changing out tapes for back-ups. Those of you that have no clue what I’m talking about, you didn’t miss anything. You missed a lot of nightmares. You’ve got it easy now compared to the old days.
So unfortunately I’ve lost hairs over the old days as well. But those are the things that we focus on to differentiate ourselves. We want to bring that extra value.
Like I say, maybe we can’t be there for everything. We can solve eight out of ten of your problems and we will have to bring in another vendor to solve the other two. But we also have a lot of vendor relationships that we will partner with other local or national firms to bring in that. You need an audio-visual solution. We’ve got a partner for that. You want websites done, we’ve got a partner for that. You need a printer and managed print and multifunction units, we have a partner for that.
We work together so that we can give you a full solution for your business needs. You need insurance? We know plenty of people in that industry. We can make recommendations, but it’s not something we’re going to do.
